Update. Remote quit working, reached out to JMGO and they are sending a replacement. Great customer service. I will be moving this to my bedroom and getting the N1S pro. Those in the know, know the pro versions are the sweet spot. I have compared this N1-pro to several other 4k projectors and although the n1-pro is only 1080p, it looks so much better than a lot of 4k projectors. So I am excited about getting the N1S pro. Also to get the best picture quality (no moire or artifacts, jutter, stutter) don't use the built in operating system, use a firestick or whatever.
I'll start with, i have been into projectors for the last 35+ years. Owned at least a dozen or more, from Epson to Sony to JVC. Installed probably a 100+. Ranging from $100 to $12,000. This buy far has to be the best value to date. Color, clarity, depth, black levels are just amazing. Fan noise is non existing, can't say that about any of the other projectors. We compared this side by side to the n1 ultra and it was almost impossible to notice a difference. Brightness difference was barely noticeable. As for detail, some scenes the ultra-looked more detailed and some scenes the pro looked more detailed. Not sure why that is, but that was mine and several others observation. So due to the price difference, the pro stayed. In fact, we are seriously contemplating on buying a second one at the sale price. But remote has stopped working, so I reached out to JMGO. Their customer service will determine my future purchases.
My only gripes are as follows. 1) Brightness should be in the picture settings, so you are able to set different levels for day and night viewing. (not a fan of the ABL)
2) audio left-right does not switch when ceiling mounted.
3) using the Bluetooth feature to send audio to and external audio source, there is a delay. No delay when using a firestick or other media sticks.
All of my gripes could be solved rather easily through a firmware-software update. Then it would easily garner 5 stars.
