I have been waiting to replace my Epson 5040UB with something comparable in price, image quality, as bright or brighter, and of course, bulb-free operation. The JMGO N3 Ultimate had exceeded all those needs. The placement fit exactly where the old projector sat in my setup. By comparison, I purchased a Valarian Pro about the same time and returned it because it lacked the same amount of horizontal and vertical lens shift that the JMGO has, along with the auto alignment motorized gimbal and far more lens shift range of motion. The image quality is beyond what I could have imagined (again, at this price range)—great color gamut and excellent black levels. I don’t use the built-in speakers. I tested an outdoor movie last week, and I can say that, for an outdoor setup, it was loud enough for everyone to hear. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

I’m extremely happy with the JMGO N1S 4K projector. The picture quality is outstanding, with vibrant colors, sharp details, and excellent brightness. It performs very well even in rooms with ambient light, making it perfect for everyday use without needing to completely darken the room.
One of the features I appreciate the most is the intelligent eye protection system. I have young children at home, and it automatically reduces the laser light whenever someone gets too close to the projector. This gives me peace of mind knowing the light won't shine directly into my children's eyes.
The automatic setup is another great advantage. Autofocus and keystone correction work quickly and accurately, allowing the projector to adapt to different rooms and projection surfaces with almost no effort.
The built-in speakers are excellent. The sound is clear, powerful, and easily fills my living room without the need for external speakers during family movie nights.
Overall, the JMGO N1S 4K has exceeded my expectations. It combines outstanding image quality, excellent sound, smart features, and family-friendly safety in a beautifully designed projector. I highly recommend it.

I've been using the JMGO N1S 4K in my bedroom setup amongst other places in my house, and it has exceeded my expectations. The projector is placed on a nightstand next to my bed, and the built-in gimbal stand, autofocus, and automatic keystone correction make setup incredibly easy. Within seconds, I had a perfectly aligned image without needing to mount anything to the ceiling.

The picture quality is outstanding, especially for the price. Colors are vibrant, the image is sharp, and movies look fantastic even when projected directly onto a wall. I regularly project an image around 100–110 inches, and the viewing experience feels immersive and cinematic.

One thing that genuinely surprised me was the audio quality. I originally planned on using an external Bluetooth speaker, but after watching a few movies, I often forgot the sound was coming from the projector itself. The built-in speakers are clear, full, and much more powerful than I expected from a projector of this size. For most bedroom movie nights, I don't feel the need to use separate speakers at all.

Another major advantage is the built-in Google TV with licensed Netflix support. Everything works right out of the box without needing additional streaming devices. The fan is quiet, and the overall design looks modern and premium.

For the price, the JMGO N1S 4K delivers an incredible home theater experience. Between the excellent picture quality, surprisingly good built-in audio, and effortless setup, it's one of the best tech purchases I've made in a long time.

The JMGO N3 4K projector is my third from this leading-edge company in the past few years.

I am using this versatile projector for use throughout the day as an ambient projector, painting walls with gorgeous nature scenes and near-still interior and outdoors scenes.

I am also using it perched behind my bed and pointed at my ceiling for several hours each week.

Two nights a week, I put this on a floor and do a two-hour passive posture exercise, and this projector puts up about a 100-inch image.

I also intend to use it outside with a 180-inch screen.

As you can see, its form factor enables this kind of versatility.

JMGO revolutionized the projector market with the launch of the N1 series in 2023. A huge portion of projectors that are expensive and even budget in price now feature built-in gimbals, and this development is transforming how people view and use projectors.

This N3 4K model puts out an extremely bright and colorful image. The 110 percent of the BT.2020 color standard that this torch is able to cast is incredible. Colors look so true to real life, heightening the realism of the content you take in.

I am also a huge fan of the optical zoom, all the way down to 1.0. I have been using throw ratios of 1.2 for a few years, and you get a much-bigger image in the same amount of distance. Here's hoping JMGO can one day merge ultra-short-throw, short-throw and long-throw projectors into a single projector! No one would buy TVs anymore!

Focus is incredibly crisp and uniform throughout. Auto keystone works very well, and it's easy to use manual controls for fine-tuning, if desired.

I typically don't use projector speakers, but these are an exception. There is stereo sound, and it gets loud enough for even the softness in volume that seemingly is all Netflix content.

I would love for JMGO to get more certifications such as Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ and HLG to better round out the HDR 10 certification. To me, this is the biggest area JMGO needs to improve in, as some competitors' offerings have all these covered. One can always use an HD Fury Arcana device to pull in Dolby Vision streams, however. I would also like to see JMGO innovate more with remote controls. Valerion, for example, features quick buttons so one doesn't have to comb through many pages of settings, creating a softer and easier user experience.

Many looking at this projector might also be looking at Hisense's M2 Pro. I've used both and can say, even with Dolby Vision missing (but I do use an Arcana, most times), I prefer this JMGO model more in picture quality.

The projector is incredibly bright and works really well. The Google tv was a bit slow but a fire stick or changing the settings can help that. It was also so clear and the picture felt like 4K even though it was only the 1080p version.

The N3 Ultimate is so aptly named because the key word here is Ultimate. Everything from the ease of setup to the bright and high quality picture puts most other (way more expensive) projectors to shame!

I bought this projector mainly to watch the World Cup with my parents, hoping to create unforgettable moments together while supporting my national team, Colombia. It ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve made.

The picture quality is bright, sharp, and colorful, making every match feel exciting and immersive. Even with some light in the room, the image stays clear and vibrant. The Auto focus and keystone is simple, so getting the perfect screen size takes only a moment.

What surprised me most is how much my parents, my daugthers and my wife love it. Now it’s almost impossible to get them off the couch — they want to watch movies all the time. The projector has turned our living room into a cozy mini‑theater and has helped us create memories we’ll always treasure.

I really enjoyed the portability and brightness of the JMGO N1S 4K. This compact projector is super easy to pack and set up for camping or moving around the house. Despite its small size, it pumps out impressive brightness that works well even with some ambient light, and the 4K image stays sharp on screens up to 100-120”.
The floor stand bundle makes quick setups effortless. That said, the built-in speakers are just okay, they get the job done for casual viewing but lack depth and volume for a true cinematic feel, so I recommend pairing it with a Bluetooth speaker or soundbar for better audio.

I've been using the JMGO N1S 4K for about two weeks now and I genuinely can't imagine going back to a traditional TV setup. This projector has completely transformed my viewing experience.

Picture Quality — The 4K display is nothing short of stunning. Colors are vibrant and punchy, blacks are deep, and the level of detail is something you have to see to believe. Whether I'm watching movies, or sports, every frame looks cinematic. I was skeptical a projector could rival my old OLED TV — it absolutely holds its own.

Portability — This thing goes everywhere with me. It's compact and light.

Setup is a Breeze — I had it running in under five minutes out of the box. No complicated configuration. Just place it, power it on, and you're watching. The auto-focus kicked in instantly and saved me a ton of fiddling.

Keystone Correction — This is a standout feature. I rarely have a perfectly flat surface to project onto, and the automatic keystone correction handles any angle beautifully. Ceiling projection, angled walls, awkward room layouts — it adjusts and delivers a perfect rectangle every time. Total lifesaver.

User Interface — Clean, intuitive, and fast. Finding apps, adjusting settings, switching inputs — everything is where you'd expect it to be.

Any downsides? In very bright rooms you'll want to close the blinds to get the best picture. That's pretty standard for any projector though.

Overall, the JMGO N1S 4K punches well above its price point. If you're on the fence, just get it. Highly recommended for movie lovers and anyone who wants a flexible, high-quality big-screen experience without the bulk of a traditional TV.

Best customer service

First impressions are excellent. The projector looks premium, sturdy, and well-built. The bi-color design gives it a modern appearance, and it feels thoughtfully engineered throughout. It features multiple ventilation openings for passive cooling, along with an active cooling fan that is remarkably quiet. In fact, I have never heard the fan, even during extended gaming sessions or long movie/series marathons.

Thermal performance has also been impressive. I have never experienced overheating, and whenever I've touched the projector during use, heat has been minimal and barely noticeable.

I have a dedicated sound system connected through the projector's 2.1 eARC port, which greatly enhances my experience when streaming content and playing video games. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the built-in speakers. For a small to medium-sized room, they deliver very good sound quality. Many users likely won't need an external speaker system to enjoy movies, TV shows, or gaming audio.

One design feature I particularly appreciate is the placement of the ports on the base of the projector. This allows the unit to be repositioned easily without cables restricting its movement. If you're connecting devices over longer distances, such as a gaming console or soundbar, I recommend using fiber-optic HDMI cables, as they maintain signal integrity better than traditional copper cables over extended runs.

The operating system is fast and responsive. Navigation is smooth, with no noticeable lag, and the projector has been extremely reliable since I purchased it.

The brightness and image quality are outstanding. Even without an ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) screen, I'm able to comfortably watch content in a well-lit room. As shown in the attached photos, the image remains clear and enjoyable despite significant ambient light. Keep in mind that smartphone photos rarely capture the full detail, color accuracy, contrast, and saturation visible in person. The projected image looks even better in real-world viewing.

The built-in gimbal makes image positioning incredibly easy, and the settings menu is intuitive and user-friendly. Setup and adjustments require very little effort.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. It arrived on time, was well-packaged, and I'm even keeping the box in case I decide to transport it in the future.

If I could suggest any improvements, I would like to see an Ethernet port for a wired internet connection. I would also consider a different material for the base. It doesn't look cheap or poorly made, but it does seem to attract and accumulate dust more easily than the rest of the projector.

If you're looking for a reliable projector with top-tier specifications, this is an excellent option. It has exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with it.

The reason I am considering a different model is not because of any issue with the projector itself. It is simply related to the layout and aesthetics of my living room. The N1S Ultra has performed exactly as expected and has delivered an excellent home theater experience.
